Yes, SaskTel does lock several of their 3G and 4G devices to prevent usage on another carrier. Unlocking your SaskTel phone allows you to use your phone with another carrier’s SIM card. To do this, you'll need your phone's unique unlock code.

To unlock your SaskTel phone:

  1. Visit the nearest SaskTel retailer or Authorized Dealer
  2. Provide the IMEI number from your phone
  3. Next, you'll receive the unlock code
  4. Insert another carrier’s SIM card into your phone
  5. Turn on the phone
  6. Enter the unlock code from SaskTel when prompted

SaskTel will provide the unlock code for your phone for a one-time service fee of $50.
