Freedom's network is significantly smaller than that of the Big Three's but what they lack in total coverage area they make up for in exceptional savings. This plan is the perfect example: 5G coverage and an enormous chunk of data. If you bring your own phone, the plan is just $50/month. If you want to pick up a new iPhone or Pixel, you'll pay $55/month for the plan, but we still think that's a fantastic deal, one that costs just a fraction of the price of comparable plans from Bell, Rogers, or Telus.

Fido is a flanker operating on Rogers' nationwide 4G LTE network. This deal allows you to snag a data chunk ten times what the average Canadian uses for just $45/month when you enroll in auto-payment. 

Public Mobile | Unlimited Canada-Wide Talk + Text + 60GB | $40/month

If you're looking to avoid getting locked into a contract this year, Public Mobile might be your best bet. The prepaid flanker operates on the nationwide Telus network, offering month-to-month 5G and 5G plans for cheap.

Freedom's also offering Boxing Day deals on their prepaid plans, including bonus data for this annual plan, which allows you to grab 30GB for just $149/year.

Good2Go (formerly Petro Canada) Boxing Day sales

The recently rebranded prepaid carrier is offering 150 minutes of talk and unlimited text for just $15/month.

Koodo Mobile Boxing Day sales

Public Mobile is the first 5G subscription carrier in Canada and for Boxing Day they're offering a $2/month in Public Points if you sign up for a 90-day subscription. Even better, you'll also snag a free eSIM and some of the carrier's rewards points in the process.

Rogers Wireless Boxing Day sales

Rogers is offering three free months of Apple TV+ for free when you buy an iPhone 13 or iPhone 14.

SaskTel Boxing Day sales
