Windows Phone 7 is about to get its first major update: Mango. Until now there have been nothing but minor bug fixes released for the WP7 platform so when we heard about the Mango update we were understandably excited. Windows Phone 7 has the makings of a solid and fantastic mobile operating system (OS), but as it stands it gives a bit of an unfinished feel when it comes to functionality. Now, according to Ausroid, HTC has just applied for 7 new Trademarks.
Windows Phone 7 has had a turbulent time finding acceptance among the top contenders of the smartphone operating system (OS) world, but now it seems they’ve finally made it. That’s right, Angry Birds has given the WP7 platform its own tick of approval and will be launching from the Microsoft Market on May 25th.
If you’ve been holidaying under a rock for the past couple of months you may have missed the incredibly hyped launch of Windows Phone 7. Yes, Microsoft has made a last ditch attempt at success in the smartphone market and by all reports they may very well succeed.
Asher Moses has reviewed the Windows Phone 7 and he likes it. We'll be posting more on the Windows Phone 7 rollout, but for now you can enjoy his review. Text is incredibly sharp and crisp on Windows Phone 7 and I'm particularly impressed with how emails and documents are rendered on the platform. The menu layout is also pleasing to the eye with big bold headings that can be scrolled through by swiping horizontally.
