It seems that once Samsung churns out a great device the many international variations just don’t stop coming. Next in line to continue the trend are the Samsung Galaxy S II and, to a lesser extent, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 which Samsung has how confirmed will soon be available in LTE capable versions in the US.
LTE isn’t the only upgrade these devices will be getting, either. Both will sport an extremely impressive dual-core 1.5GHz processor and the Galaxy S II LTE will receive, either. A screen boost from 4.3 to 4.5 inches is on the way as well, bringing the specs very much in line with those rumoured to be coming on the Google Nexus Prime in the next few months.
Exactly when these devices will be clear is uncertain at this point, but we expect to see them in the next few months, especially due to the Galaxy S II LTE's specs being so similar to those of the Nexus Prime. We also expect to see a name change for both gadgets, but once again we can only speculate as to what they will ultimately be called.
What do you think? Does this news have you excited, or do you not think it will ultimately affect your hardware decisions moving forward?
