Viewsonic just seems like it’s bragging now, showing off the ViewPad e70, ViewPad 10pi, ViewPad 10e and ViewPhone 3 at CES in Vegas.

The ViewPad e70

The ViewPad e70 is a 7 inch Android tablet set to come running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). The e70 comes powered by a single-core 1GHz CPU and with just 4GB of internal memory, essentially labelling it a more budget-oriented option for tablet users.

There’s to be a front-facing camera (MP unknown), 1080p HDMI output and, best of all, an impressive price-tag of just $170.

The ViewPad 10pi and ViewPad 10e

The ViewPad 10pi and 10e are both 10 inch tablets, neither of which come running on Ice Cream Sandwich, sadly.

The 10pi will apparently have a dual-boot option, running both Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Windows 7, depending on which you choose to boot in. Resolution is 1280 x 800 pixels and, oh yeah, did we mention that Intel made the chip for this tablet? The ViewPad 10pi will come rocking a 1.5GHz Oak Trail z670 CPU.

Price is expected to be around $849.

The 10e is a purely Android 2.3 Gingerbread tablet running on a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor. Not much else is know right now except that it should run customers around $299 off the shelf.

The ViewPhone 3

The ViewPhone 3 is going to be a Latin America exclusive so don’t get your hopes up if you’re not that way geographically inclined. A short spec list of the ViewPhone 3 is below.

  • 3.5 inch screen
  • Quadband GSM connectivity
  • 850MHz EDGE
  • HVGA display
  • 512MB of RAM
  • Android 2.3
  • Qualcomm 800MHz CPU
  • $250 for an unlocked device (reportedly)

That’s it so far

Well there you have it. ViewSonic has definitely made its share of announcements so far at CES and we’re not even sure they’re done yet. If you find yourself intrigued by these cheap or dual-booting tablets then stay tuned. We’ll keep information as up to date as we can for our interested readers.
