Virgin Mobile USA has added the 4G-toting Samsung Galaxy S3 to its line-up, with an outright purchase price tag of $399. The Samsung smartphone stands out among Virgin's otherwise low-end handset offerings, as is one of only three 4G LTE handsets available through the telco. Handset purchases are available with Virgin's no-contract Beyond Talk Unlimited Data and Messaging plans, with $35, $45 and $55 options; where the most expensive plan includes unlimited talk-time. If $399 is a bit too expensive to stump up all at once, Virgin offer a Bill Me Later option on the phone, giving customers 6 months to pay off the smartphone hardware before interest charges kick in. While the Galaxy S3 is yesterday's smartphone hero, it still offers some of the best features in this year's flagships. NFC means you can share files with other compatible phones by tapping them together, and the Android Jelly Bean software on the phone offers a range of Google features like Google Now search and voice commands. 4G LTE is also an increasingly important part of the Virgin Mobile story and the Galaxy S3 4G is an excellent phone to show off what it is capable of, even if it isn't the absolute latest and greatest.
