Well we’ve heard about the Nokia Lumia 900 and Lumia 710 US releases (Lumia 900 still to come) and now we’ve finally got some solid goss on the Nokia Lumia 800. Come February 14 the world’s first Nokia Windows Phone will be available for $899 in the US with a handful of bundled accessories.
Yes, this is an unlocked, SIM-free Nokia Lumia 800, meaning it won’t be tied to any plans or carriers. It’s important to remember that the Lumia 800 is a GSM device and as such Verizon and Sprint customers are out of luck. But that’s just the way of things when European devices hit US shores.
The Lumia 900 will be released later in the year on AT&T’s network, complete with 4G LTE connectivity. As such we wouldn’t recommend AT&T users to rush out and grab a Lumia 800, but if you can’t wait then don’t worry, we understand.
