Bell has announced two new additions to its device range, with both the Sony SmartWatch 3 and the Motorola Moto 360 arriving in-store in time for the holidays.
The Sony SmartWatch 3
The Sony SmartWatch 3 features a 1.6-inch, 320x320 LCD display, with 4GB of internal storage and a 420mAh battery. It’s both water and dust resistant, runs Android Wear, and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor.
Fitness fanatics will love the SmartWatch’s GPS support, which lets you track your workout without the need to bring along a connecting smartphone. You can also charge the device via microUSB.
Bell is pricing Sony’s new wearable at $279.95, equal to what you'll pay in the Google Play Store. No exact launch date has been released, but the smartwatch will hit Bell’s online and retail stores later this month.
The Moto 360
If you can’t wait for the Sony watch, the stylish Moto 360 is available now through Bell, and it’s also priced at $279.95. The display is a little smaller at 1.56 inches and 320x290 pixels, but it features 4GB of storage, Bluetooth 4.0, wireless charging and a 320mAh battery.
The Moto 360 is compatible with any smartphone running Android 4.3 or higher, includes a heart rate monitor and pedometer, and is IP67 water-resistant – so like the Sony SmartWatch 3, is a great option for anyone wanting to track their fitness.
If you still can't decide, we've pitted both devices against each other in our smartwatch face-off.
