If you’re looking to get your hands on one of Samsung’s big screen beauties, you’ll have your pick, with all the telco majors to stock both the 32GB and 64GB for the Galaxy S6 edge+ and the 32GB Galaxy Note 5.
There is a $90 price difference between the outright price for the base model of both phones, and this price difference is reflected in the contract plan pricing across the board. Broadly speaking, you’ll pay about $360 for a Note 5 on a two-year contract, and $460 for the S6 edge+.
This difference in price probably covers the extra cost of making a curved, glass screen, but for our money, this is the wrong way around. The Note 5 is the pick of the two phones, and if either deserves a higher price, it is the Note.
Let’s take a look at the telco pricing in detail. All prices listed are the upfront handset price on a two-year contract.
