Best Dual SIM Android Phones

Let’s dive into the top dual SIM mobile phones for juggling multiple numbers and carriers.

4.5 out of 5 overall

Samsung | Galaxy S22+ | Best dual SIM phone overall

Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series of handsets is available with a dual SIM card slot. Since the S22+ supports both physical and electronic SIM (eSIM) cards, you can add multiple networks. Simply pop into the S22 Plus’s SIM card manager to enable eSIMs. After configuring a dual SIM setup on your Samsung Galaxy Android phone, you can pick a primary or preferred SIM. While both SIMs remain active, only one works for cellular data simultaneously.

Aside from dual SIM functionality, the S22 gets you a great camera that snaps spectacular food photos, a cutting-edge processor that easily runs Genshin Impact, and a gorgeous display. We recommend the S22+ for most folks since it offers a big, bright screen without breaking the bank. For a bigger battery and better camera, consider the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Or, for sweet savings, check out the standard S22. But overall, the Galaxy S22+ is the best Samsung dual SIM phone.

  • Pros: Dual SIM using physical and eSIM, excellent cameras, powerful processor
  • Cons: Modest improvement over S21 series

Google | Pixel 7 | Best value dual SIM Android phone

Google’s Pixel smartphones traditionally offer exceptional camera quality along with a slick stock Android experience. The Google Pixel 7 is no exception and features dual SIM capabilities thanks to its single physical SIM card slot and eSIM support. You can also easily add another carrier SIM card under the SIMs menu in your phone’s Network & internet settings. Overall, we liked the Google Pixel 7’s terrific cameras, artificial intelligence (AI) features, and great value compared with other flagship handsets.

While its Tensor G2 processor is plenty powerful for most people, hardcore mobile gamers might be disappointed since it lags behind the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Still, we appreciate the Google Pixel 7’s everyday usability, like AI voice memo transcription and best-in-class photo quality, making it a phenomenal dual SIM smartphone. Alternatively, check out the last-gen but great Google Pixel 6 Pro.

  • Pros: Dual SIM support with physical and eSIM, terrific camera quality, nifty AI features
  • Cons: Not the most powerful processor

Best Dual SIM iPhones

Several Apple iPhones support dual SIM cards, including the iPhone XR, XS, 11, 12, 13, SE (3rd gen), and 14. These are our favourite dual SIM-compatible iPhone models.

Apple | iPhone 13 Pro Max | Best dual SIM iPhone

The iPhone 13 roster works with dual SIMs, and because of its excellent camera, reliable A15 Bionic processor, and massive screen, we recommend the iPhone 13 Pro Max. It’s also simple to set up dual SIM cards on the iPhone 13; head into the Settings > Cellular menu and turn on two lines. You’ll enjoy options like selecting default cellular data and voice call lines.

With the iPhone 13 Pro Max, you’ll get an exceptional camera that brings your portrait mode shots to life, long-lasting battery life, and a blisteringly fast processor that easily handles even Fortnite for iOS. Unfortunately, the 13 Pro Max is pretty pricey and doesn’t charge as fast as we’d like. You may also consider the iPhone 13 Pro, which gets you the same specs in a smaller package.

  • Pros: Dual SIM using physical and eSIM, incredible camera, generous battery life
  • Cons: Expensive, somewhat slow charging

Apple | iPhone SE (3rd gen) 2022 | Best budget dual SIM iPhone

Apple’s iPhone SE (3rd gen) 2022 is a wallet-friendly dual SIM device. You can insert one physical card and enable an eSIM for multiple phone numbers on the same device. We like the iPhone SE 2022’s compact chassis, which is comfortable to use with one hand. Additionally, the SE snaps great photos, offers solid performance, and includes 5G for fast mobile data speeds.

Disappointingly, the Apple iPhone SE 3rd gen lacks support for mmWave 5G, meaning you won’t get the fastest possible mobile internet. Of course, even without mmWave, the SE’s 5G is still faster than 4G LTE. Moreover, the iPhone SE’s camera doesn’t have a Night Mode, so low-light photography is uninspiring. Despite a few shortcomings, the iPhone SE (3rd gen) is a terrific budget-priced iPhone that lets you add a second SIM card.

  • Pros: Dual SIM with physical and eSIM, compact design, 5G support
  • Cons: Lacks camera Night Mode, no mmWave 5G
