J.D. Power's 2021 wireless customer care study ranked SaskTel third for customer satisfaction among all Canadian carriers, tied with Telus at a ranking of 766 points (out of a maximum 1,000 points). This exceeds the segment average of 749 points and beats out regional competitors like Freedom Mobile and Bell MTS by a wide margin. It also puts SaskTel ahead of two of the three major Canadian carriers' satisfaction results: Bell came in at 728 and Rogers followed at 728.
SaskTel is a regional carrier focused on Saskatchewan and operating on its own 5G and 4G LTE networks. SaskTel customers who travel outside of Saskatchewan will still be covered through partner networks, but their speeds will likely be throttled.
