How Accurate Is This Eastlink Speed Test?


You can increase the accuracy of your internet speed test results by rebooting your modem and router, restarting your computer/smartphone, halting any other internet activity, and using an ethernet connection to your router instead of Wi-Fi. If the results are still not to your liking, there may be some additional improvements you can make to your Eastlink Internet plan.

If you’re not getting the download, upload, and latency test results you expect, there are a few steps you can take to optimize your internet connection.

How Do I Check for an Eastlink Internet Outage?


There are a few ways to check for an Eastlink internet outage or unexpected slow downloads. Before you spend time trying to connect with an Eastlink customer support representative, try rebooting your modem, computer, or smartphone. 

If your Eastlink internet service still isn’t responding, you can check Eastlink's outages page or contact the technical support line (1-888-345-1111), which is open 24/7. However, if there’s a widespread problem, you may be stuck on hold for a while.
