So it turns out that there’s some leaked info which hints that just maybe the iPhone 5 could possibly be seeing some potential stock shortages when it’s eventually released… supposedly. The folks over at TiPB have reported a rumor that Apple is experiencing some “design and production” issues with the iPhone 5.

It sounds oddly familiar, doesn’t it? It seems that every time Apple has a new big gadget release coming up there’s suddenly some “leaked” information which hints at a product shortage. As a result Apple fans queue up around the block in order to make sure they don’t miss out, which in turn leads to an immediate product shortage, as everyone turned up on day 1 to claim their new shiny gadget.

Of course, there’s just as likely a possibility that Apple is actually experiencing some real difficulties churning out the new iPhone 5 (and possibly iPhone 4S as well). However, that would smack a bit of poor planning, as Apple is already about 4 months behind its usual product-release timetable with the next gen iPhone.
