Fizz, the affordable mobile carrier that launched in Quebec 5 years ago, announced that it now offers plans in four additional provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario. To celebrate the rollout, the carrier is offering limited-time introductory prices, allowing customers to snag generous hunks of 4G LTE data for extremely low prices.

Fizz's new provinces

Fizz now offers coverage in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario. It’s also still available in Quebec, where it originally launched in 2018.

With every Fizz plan, customers can choose three different kinds of coverage: province-specific, Canada-wide, or Canada + USA. Customers who select province-specific coverage will pay a lower monthly rate and will be able to freely use their monthly plan across the country (at slower speeds), thanks to Fizz's partner network map. Similarly, Fizz members with the CAN + USA coverage can use their monthly plan across both countries stress-free, so long as they remain within Fizz’s partner network map.

Limited-time introductory prices

Fizz’s plans are always affordable, but right now, they’re offering especially low introductory rates across all five of their coverage areas, with prices starting at just $14/month.

Fizz mobile plans available now

Province Data Price
Alberta Up to 40GB VIEW AT FIZZ
British Columbia Up to 60GB VIEW AT FIZZ
Manitoba Up to 10GB VIEW AT FIZZ
Ontario Up to 40GB VIEW AT FIZZ
Quebec Up to 50GB VIEW AT FIZZ

The best part is that Fizz’s introductory rates aren't subject to price hikes. Once you activate a plan, the price will remain for the duration of your use of that plan. That doesn’t mean you’re locked into a contract, though: you can keep your plan as long as you’d like or change plans when Fizz offers something better. If you’re unhappy with the service overall, you’re also free to leave without penalty.

Rollover data, loyalty rewards, and plan customization

Although Fizz is now expanding to four new provinces, all of their plans will still include the excellent perks and rewards the carrier has been known for. The one that impresses us most is its rollover data policy, which automatically transfers any unused GBs from one month to the next.

You can also earn additional data (or money deducted from your monthly bill) through Fizz’s loyalty program, My Rewards, which awards users when they gift data, refer friends, answer a question in the Community Hub forum, and complete other community-minded tasks. Even if you don’t complete any of those actions, though, Fizz offers some rewards for members starting on day one.

Fizz’s plans are also fully customizable, allowing you to select the coverage area, data amount, and other features (texts, minutes, voicemail, and international calling) that are right for you. And the best part? You can easily change your plan directly in your account month after month, so your plan always fits your needs.
