If you have a monthly subscription to an online service, you might be able to save a little cash by grabbing the right phone plan. Some carriers offer free access to paid services as a bonus.
It might not be a great draw card if you’re not already shelling out the money each month, but if you are it can be a cool $10 saving.
If you think about it, that’s pretty much the same as if that plan was $10 cheaper than the competition, which is absolutely enough of a reason to consider one carrier over another.
Let’s take a look at carriers in Canada and who offers free access to what.
Unrestricted Data
Sometimes a carrier won't necessarily offer free access to a subscription, but will instead not count any data you chew through when using a specific service.
That means, no matter how much you go wild on your favorite streaming platforms, it won't effect your monthly usage. This can mean the difference between a 5GB and a 2GB plan for a lot of people, or more.

Spotify, Google Play Music, Deezer, Analekta, 8Tracks, Groove, Digitally Imported, Jazz Radio, Radiotunes, Rockradio, Bandcamp, Slacker Radio, and Stingray Music | Free for 24 months |
As you can see, Videotron focuses purely on music streaming services. Thankfully, it's a pretty comprehensive list, which might make you feel a little better if Net Neutrality is an important issue to you. As for which plans give you unlimited streaming from these brands, you need to be on any All-Inclusive Canada-wide plan with 2GB, 3GB, or 5GB of data, and have an LTE SIM card.
Spotify Premium
Spotify is one of the world's most popular music streaming services. You can access it for free, if you're happy with the idea of ads, or you can pay around $9.99 per month for Premium access.
Premium means no ads, and the ability to download music to up to three devices, which means you can stock up while on a WiFi network and not worry about eating up you're cap while you're out and about.

Daily Vice
Daily Vice is a mobile news and culture show, brought to you by the folks at VICE. On top of that, it provides a 'first look' at VICE documentaries before they even make their way to their websites.
It's essentially a great way to keep up to date on VICE stories while you're in between larger screens, or if you couldn't be bothered getting out of bed just yet.
